Good Afternoon Rockets! This is your Friday update from the Main Office!
The October FFA meeting will be October 6th at 6pm in the Science Lab at C-TECH. Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend! If there are any questions, please contact Mrs. Gerber.
Hey JM anime club is starting! Want to meet other students with similar interests? Come hang out, watch some anime, play games and share some food. We will have our first meeting Wednesday Oct. 8th after school in Mr. Stanslaski's room 5-212.
Rockets, on Tuesday, October 7th the school flu clinic will be in the wrestling room during all three lunches. If your parent or guardian signed you up for the flu shot, do not forget to get your flu shot.
A rep from the U.S. Air Force will visit JM during all three lunches on Tuesday, 10/7/25.
Homecoming tickets go on sale next week. We will be selling tickets during lunches. Tickets are $10 each and we are only taking CASH at this time.

Good Afternoon Rockets! This is your Thursday update from the Main Office!
A rep from the U.S. Air Force will visit JM during all three lunches on Tuesday, 10/7/25.
Seniors, it’s time to start preparing for graduation day. There will be a Jostens cap and gown meeting on Tuesday, October 7th at 9:00 AM in the auditorium. Please plan to attend so you can get your FREE cap, gown and tassel ordered. If you have any questions, please see Gina in the Main Office.
This Saturday from 4 to 7 PM, is the John Marshall Fall Festival. There will be free food, games and new this year a free raffle for JM students. Prizes include a Switch 2, a $250 Amazon gift card, a $200 Target gift card and many more. You must be present to win. Check out the Fall Festival posters around the building for more information. All proceeds go to support JM clubs, activities and sports. Hope to see you there!
Rockets, the boys Soccer team plays Century for the Big 9 Conference Title tonight at 7:00 in the stadium. Come out cheer for our team!

Reminder, JM PRIDE the campus GSA group will be meeting today instead of tomorrow. We will also meet at our usual time on Friday, from 8:20-8:40am. Please join us in room 3-211 to talk about plans for Fall Fest, semester goals and National Coming Out Day events. Reminder National Coming out day is October 11th. We will be celebrating it on Monday, October 13th.
Students, please remember that the deadline for registering for an honors OPTION in a designated class is today. See Mrs. Cobb or your teacher for more information.

JM PRIDE the John Marshall LGBTQIA+ club will be meeting on Wednesday October 1st from 3:30-5:30 this week instead of on Thursdays like normal. We will still meet Friday morning at 8:20. We will be finalizing our plans for Fall Fest, discussing recent LGBTQIA+ events and going over our plans for National Coming Out Day which we will be celebrating on October 13th. Everyone is welcome!

A rep from St Olaf will be here on Tuesday at 1pm. On Wednesday a rep from University of Wisconsin Eau Claire will be here at 10am, and a rep from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point will be here at 12:45pm. Passes may be picked up in the counseling office or the main office.

Juniors and Sophomores the deadline to register for the PSAT test is Wednesday October 1. This is an OPTIONAL and practice test for the SAT college admissions test. The PSAT also serves as a qualifier for the National Merit Scholarship Competition for Juniors who take it. There are only 6 seats left, so register today. The fee is $20.
The deadline for guest forms for the homecoming dance is today. The digital date form will close today after school. All paper date forms must be returned to the Main Office by Wednesday, October 1. Remember you can’t buy tickets for you or your guest until the form has been returned. Tickets go on sale next week during all 3 lunches.
