Hello! Welcome to Bamber Valley Elementary School, home of the Bamber Valley Beavers. I am Principal Sonju, and I'm honored to lead the cheer for the Bamber Valley Beavers! My door is always open, and I am constantly seeking new ways to involve our families in our school community.
Bamber Valley is a thriving school, growing and changing as our students do. Our building and property have been designed to offer a unique learning experience, in part because we are the district-based school for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program. Innovation meets tradition in our huge green space used for outdoor learning and brain breaks. This is also where we host our legendary "Bamber Morning Run," a tradition that began almost 50 years ago!
Our students and staff are empowered to work with passion and live with enthusiasm. We believe in rigorous academic learning, building strong, lasting relationships, creating good memories, and fostering a positive attitude toward lifelong learning. We strive to differentiate instruction to challenge each student every day. There are many ways for students to connect and grow, including leadership opportunities, both big and small.
At Bamber Valley, we live by the Bamber Valley Way: we take care of ourselves, we take care of others, and we take care of our place. Every day, students engage in rich learning opportunities that support both their academic and social-emotional growth. We have a rich history and take pride in our strong sense of community.
